The Little Mermaid is here and Halle's locs have been styled to the gods! Chloe and Halle Bailey have made their locs their signature, and over the years they’ve played around with how their hair is styled! Three of their hairstylists: Camille Friend, Fesa Nu, and Tanisha Meeks have proved that locs can be transformed into nearly any style you want! Here are some of our favorite ways that the sisters showed off their hair!

Halle Bailey's ‘The Little Mermaid’ Hair Transformation Cost At Least $150K

Halle's Little Mermaid hairstylist, Camille Friend, made sure to keep Halle's natural locs (per her request) for the role of Ariel. She ended up wrapping red hair around her over 24-inch natural locs. The hair wrapping took over 12 hours and was completed multiple times during filming. The amount of hair and the process of coloring and testing out styles and colors took over $150,000.
